New York prog-rockers Coheed and Cambria appeared on the scene in 2002 with their first studio album, "The Second Stage Turbine Blade". Several years and several widely acclaimed albums later, frontman Claudio Sanchez and company are on the road again to promote their latest offering, Year of the Black Rainbow. Black Rainbow is a prequel to Coheed and Cambria's earlier albums, which form a cohesive sci-fi storyline. Influenced by everything from '60s and '70s rock to modern-day heavy metal, Coheed's music is dynamic and innovative. Critics and fans agree, their powerful live shows are not to be missed. Coheed and Cambria hit Atlantic City with openers Circa Survive and Torch on September 29, 2012 at House of Blues.
